Restaurants
According to an annual research held by the municipality, the most popular restaurant in town is the Bazalka Restaurant, in the center - so called Old Town, in the Pernstynska Street, open daily 11 AM – 11 PM. If you are a sports fan or plan to visit Pardubice during some important sports event, you may like the Hattrick Restaurant, where you can watch Sports channels in High Definition whilst eating your mealing or enjoying your beer. If you like live music and maybe a litlle dancing during your dinner, Restaurace Rybarna in Bulharska Street might be just the place.
If you would like to a visit a classy non-smoking restaurant, Villa Rosa might be your pick. It is in the center, in Havlickova Street. It offers international cuisine specialities as well as Czech meals, with opening hours 10 AM – 10 PM. More or less traditional Czech restaurant is the Restaurace Velvet in the Trida Miru Street. It offers very reasonable prices for its daily menu, approximately 60 – 80 CZK (2.5 – 3.5 €). Unfortunately, or one may say typically, its webpage’s English version is definetely not in English, therefore, do not expect the waiters to speak anything but Czech, maybe a little German or Russian. Restaurant U Lva is designed for picky connoisseurs d’manger, its menu is exotic and colorful, using many uncommon spices and other ingredients and may fit well for those who want to experience their meal. If you are looking for alternative catering facilities, there is a vegetarian/macrobiotic restaurant Spalda in Trida Miru Street. It is not just a restaurant, it has a shop in the building that sells organic and macrobiotic food as well as other things useful for healthy diet.
